Dr. R. Krishnaveni
Dr.R.Krishnaveni has her B.Com from Madras University and MBA from Bharathiar University. She completed her Ph.D in management in 1999. She has twenty two years of teaching and fifteen years of research experience. She has to her credit around fifty research articles that have found their place in international and national level journals. She is the editor of the journal "Journal of Contemporary Research in Management".
Dr. Deepa Ranganathan, a Gold Medalist from PSG College of Technology (Bachelor of Engineering, EEE) with a Masters in Business Administration has 8 years of Industry experience in various positions like Vice President – Human Resources, General Manager and Management Representative (ISO). Her articles and cases have found their place in various International and National Journals. She has presented papers on Emotional Intelligence in various International and National conferences. Her case “Crisis at Rangaram Infosys Ltd” was awarded the First Prize at the “International Case Writing Competition on Gender Inclusivity” held at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India. She was the recipient of the Best Paper Award in the “International Conference on Contemporary Innovative Practices in Management” held at Pacific University, Udaipur during April 13 – 15, 2012, for the paper titled “Diagnosing the Emotional Intelligence across the service sector in South India”
She was drawn towards Emotional Intelligence research during her tenure as Vice President – HR at an MNC. She took up full time research at Anna University, Tamilnadu, India and earned her Ph.D in the topic “ASSESSING THE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE LEVEL AND ANALYZING ITS IMPACT ON THE WELL-BEING OF IT/ITES PROFESSIONALS - WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO SOUTH INDIA”. She also worked as Co-Principal Investigator in an “All India Council for Technical Education” (AICTE) Funded Research Project Titled “Diagnosing and Enhancing the Emotional Intelligence of IT Professionals for Service Excellence”. She conducts training programs on Emotional Intelligence for corporate executives, at PSG Institute of Management. She is keen in propagating Emotional Intelligence as the “Path to Well-Being” and is presently writing a book on Emotional Intelligence.
